The Fantastic Flashback to the 80’s Festival

Cruel World is a flashback to an era every 80’s music fan has been waiting for.

The lineup features many of the top 80’s music artist in new wave, post-punk, gothic rock, and alternative rock from that time. The festival is nostalgia at an all time high. Cruel World has consistently featured legendary names and several reunited bands from that decade, to offer a rare opportunity to see and relive the magic of the 80’s. You’ll feel like you’ve gone back in time with the bands you grew up with performing LIVE.

The 2025 lineup includes New Order, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds as headliners. In addition there’s the throwback 80’s fashion and style from many attendees helping create this festivals distinctive 80’s vibe. And it helps that Cruel World is organized by Goldenvoice who are known for producing high-quality and well-organized events.

Location: The Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California…a great location for this event.
