He helped pioneer the trend of stage comedians making great TV personalities in Sitcoms. But it’s his stage performances that are still 2nd to none. You have to try very hard to not have a stomach-ache from non-stop laughter, after a GL stage performance.

His sitcom “George Lopez” was groundbreaking for its portrayal of a Mexican-American family, providing much-needed visibility and relatability to Latino and American audiences . He’s been a strong voice for the latino community often drawing from his own life experiences, making his humor relatable to a very broader audience.
